The Auskick program is an intro to Australian Rules for kids. The program runs weekly with games based activities. For many kids Auskick is their first Aussie rules experience — children can start Auskick in the calendar year they turn 5.
Essendon Doutta Stars Football Club runs the Auskick program each year. Many kids who start with Auskick at Doutta Stars go on to play in our Junior teams . It's also a great way for parents to get involved with their kids and the club.

It can be overwhelming when starting the journey through junior football
or when joining a new club (as we all do things slightly differently).
The very first thing you need to do is register your junior as a player and
yourself as a parent volunteer (this is simply so that you can help out with a few game day roles needed each week).
